  Kiser Lumber Company produces pine wooden shingles. Pine shingles are really beautiful and last for a long time. I am very "green", I compost and recycle extensively, and I feel like pine wooden shingles are the most "green" way to go when building a house. Kiser Lumber Company replants at least two times as many trees as they cut down, and they are a small business. That has to count for something. :)
